Victor Dewulf

Victor Dewulf is a researcher in machine vision systems that are based on neural networks. As part of his work at Imperial College London he developed a system called Recycleye which significantly outperformed other algorithms in identifying and classifying individual items in a waste stream. His work has been turned into a spinout (Recycleye) that continues to refine the technology and brings it to commercialization. Some of his prior work includes developing evolutionary algorithms and parametric models to optimize building forms. He also holds a MEng in environmental engineering with business management from Imperial. Victor also has extensive international industry experience having worked in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Houston and Brussels.
