Stella Juventia studies complex adaptive systems and her research interests lie at the intersection of agronomy, ecology and rural community development. As a master student in the Farming System Ecology group at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Stella is currently investigating strip intercropping and biological pest control in organic vegetable field in the Netherlands. She worked on various projects; from designing permaculture farm, constructing indicators for agroecological pest management practices to developing a guide book for farmers in transition towards Nature Inclusive Farming, a project assigned by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature Management and Food Quality. Prior to entering WUR as a StuNed scholar, Stella earned a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from Nagoya University in 2017 with Japan MEXT scholarship.
