Christopher has a background in mechanical engineering in South Africa, followed by an MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. He worked as a researcher in energy access and energy-water nexus modelling at the Division of Energy System Analysis at KTH, focusing on policy in developing countries. He has subsequently worked on energy access at the World Bank Group, supporting research and data initiatives at the global level, along with innovative projects in East and West Africa, with an emphasis on supporting energy access through improved data, modeling and private sector involvement.
